We are all striving to be more fully integrated human beings whether it's in our relationships, our bodies, our jobs, or the way we put it all together. I believe that when there is a block in interplay between that which we experience on the inside and what we express on the outside, and visa versa, we often feel like we are not fully alive. We can try and try to think it through but it may be attributed to early movement patterns which were not properly sequenced for one reason or another leading to body/emotional habits and patterns which become ingrained. We hold onto what is familiar and that which does not always serve us. Sometimes a more helpful flow may be established when we can let go of old habits. This includes movement habits which, when patterns of connectivity are explored, can potentially free held body/emotional patterns or obstacles. The body has its own mind.
Through the use of breath, connecting the body in the way it was designed to be connected...in a 3 dimensional way, that is attending to all surfaces, all the space around us and inside of us, moving in a dynamic and rhythmic way, and finding our fundamental connections in our spines, core to extremities, our upper bodies to our lower bodies, one half of our body to the other half, and our diagonal patterns which allow for twisting and reaching the places in between where we usually don't go.
